Genotoxicity

Genotoxicity assays are in-vitro and in-vivo tests used to detect substances that directly or indirectly induce genetic damage by different mechanisms of DNA damage, which can occur in the form of gene mutations and chromosomal aberrations. These damages are heritable and contribute to multistage development of malignant tumors. Because no single assay can detect all genotoxic endpoints, the evaluation process must use a combination of different test to comprehensively assess the potential genotoxic risk of a test substance.

Leveraging decades of experience in genotoxicity research project development and continuous optimization, IPHASE has developed a variety of in-vitro genotoxicity test kits: Ames, Mini-Ames. TK/HGPRT, Chromosomal Aberration, Micronucleus, Comet. Moreover, key components such as Liver S9 Activation System, Giemsa staining reagents are also offered. In essence, these products are designed to streamline testing procedures by eliminating tedious preparation process and improve study reliability with well-established product specification to overcome challenges in in-vitro genotoxicity tests.
